During Pregnancy
Prenatal Care
During prenatal care, we support you individually throughout your pregnancy. Our work follows the German maternity care guidelines and can, depending on your needs, take place in alternation with your gynecological practice. In addition to medical check-ups, we take time for counselling, personal conversations, and support with discomforts or uncertainties.
Prenatal care is a core midwifery service and is fully covered by statutory health insurance providers. For privately insured patients, coverage depends on the conditions agreed upon in their individual insurance contract.
Support Services During Pregnancy
All topics — whether medical or personal, whether related to an uncomplicated pregnancy or challenging situations — can be discussed with your midwife. She can provide guidance and support through counselling and practical care methods.
Support services during pregnancy are fully covered by statutory health insurance providers. For privately insured patients, coverage depends on the conditions agreed upon in their individual insurance contract.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture can be used during pregnancy and the postpartum period to support physical and emotional well-being, for example in cases of nausea, pain, or sleep disturbances. It may also help support the body’s natural regulation during birth preparation and postpartum recovery.
Acupuncture is a private service and is offered by individual arrangement.
K‑Taping
K‑Taping can provide targeted support for discomforts related to pregnancy and the postpartum period. Elastic tapes help relieve muscles, ligaments, and lymphatic flow — for example in cases of back pain, symphysis pain, water retention, or blocked milk ducts.
The treatment is medication-free and is offered as a private service.
Birth Preparation for Couples
In addition to providing knowledge about birth, the postpartum period, and breastfeeding, the course offers space for exchange, orientation, and exploring the role of the accompanying person. It creates room for questions, preparation, and building confidence together.
Birth preparation courses are covered by statutory health insurance for pregnant participants. A co-payment is required for partners. For privately insured participants, coverage depends on the conditions agreed upon in their individual insurance contract.
Pregnancy Yoga
Pregnancy yoga is a holistic form of birth preparation for body, breath, and mind. Through gentle movement, breathing exercises, and relaxation, you strengthen your body, find calm, and build confidence in yourself and the birth process. At the same time, the course offers space for exchange and connection with other pregnant women, helping you feel supported and accompanied throughout your pregnancy.

Dance Classes for Pregnant Women
This course is designed for pregnant people and invites participants to connect deeply and lovingly with their own body and their baby through dance. Through guided improvisation, we move slowly but flowingly into continuous motion, freeing the mind and creating softness and flexibility in the body.
The focus is on the joy of movement, and no previous experience is required.
This course does not replace medical care during pregnancy. If you have any concerns or uncertainties, we recommend consulting your treating doctor or healthcare provider.
The course is led by Yasmin Schönmann. Yasmin is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher specializing in contemporary and urban dance. Her goal is to share the joy of dance while strengthening connection to one’s own body and creativity.

After Birth
Postpartum Care and Breastfeeding Support
After birth, we provide care in your home environment. During this sensitive time, we support breastfeeding, offer guidance for discomforts and uncertainties, and assist you with newborn care. We also help you better understand and respond to your baby’s signals.
We are also available to support you with breastfeeding challenges and work together to find suitable solutions for you and your child. Breastfeeding or nutritional counselling is also available at a later stage — for example regarding bottle feeding, introducing solid foods, or weaning.
Postpartum midwifery care is covered by statutory health insurance providers. For privately insured patients, coverage depends on the conditions agreed upon in their individual insurance contract. Additional offers and services are private services.
Postnatal Recovery Exercise
After pregnancy and birth, postnatal recovery courses help strengthen the body step by step. The focus is particularly on the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. The exercises are designed to engage and support the entire body.
The course can be attended with or without your baby. There are no mother-and-baby exercises during the sessions.
The course costs are covered by statutory health insurance providers.
Postnatal recovery exercise is a health insurance-covered service. A requirement is that all course sessions are completed by the end of the ninth month after birth. For privately insured participants, coverage depends on the conditions agreed upon in their individual insurance contract.
Pelvic Floor Therapy and Physiotherapy
The focus of physiotherapeutic support is on evidence-based pelvic floor and pain therapy. The service is aimed at people during pregnancy and after birth, for example in cases of incontinence, pain, prolapse symptoms, or questions related to sexuality.
During treatment, physical causes are specifically assessed and individual solutions are developed. In addition to the body, emotional aspects and interpersonal relationships are also taken into consideration. Support is provided in a queer-sensitive and appreciative atmosphere.
Pelvic floor therapy and physiotherapy are private services in our practice.
Complementary Feeding Counselling
Complementary feeding counselling is provided by our midwives and can take place as soon as your baby shows interest in foods other than milk. During the consultation, we support you individually through the transition to complementary feeding and address your questions and concerns.
Please use the contact form to arrange an appointment.
Complementary feeding counselling is covered by statutory health insurance providers.
Postnatal Yoga for Parents and Baby
Postnatal yoga focuses on the well-being of the mother. Babies are warmly welcome. In this course, we create a space where mothers can recover, rebuild strength from their center (pelvic area), and find calm and balance. The practice supports regeneration after birth and strengthens the body from within. Breathing exercises and deep relaxation encourage recovery and support the nervous system.
At the same time, the course offers space to connect with other mothers — a place where caring for yourself and caring for your child naturally belong together.

First Aid for Babies and Children
Emergency situations involving babies or young children can be especially stressful for parents and caregivers. In this compact seminar, we provide essential knowledge and practical confidence to help participants assess emergencies correctly and respond appropriately in critical situations.
The seminar is intended for pregnant people, new parents, and anyone interested. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical exercises are included, such as infant and child resuscitation, removing foreign objects from the airways, and handling febrile seizures, poisoning, and thermal injuries. The seminar lasts four hours.
With a certificate of participation, the seminar may be submitted to various health insurance providers for reimbursement.
Courses for Fathers
This course is designed for expectant fathers and complements traditional birth preparation classes. The focus is on birth from the father’s perspective and the first months with the baby. In this three-hour course, practical fundamentals are covered, including safe handling of the baby, attachment-oriented parenting, coping with a crying baby, and understanding the postpartum period and the couple’s relationship after birth.
